Early Statewide Results for Green Presidential Candidates
As of 8:30, Peter Camejo is far ahead. Even though Peter *may* consider his candidacy as a 'stand-in' for Ralph until the June decision by the national party, this is great news. Note, Alameda County numbers not in yet, nor probably are most others.
Statewide
David Cobb 213 8.0
Kent Mesplay 61 2.2
Lorna Salzman 322 12.1
Peter Miguel Camejo 2,074 77.7
David Cobb 213 8.0
Kent Mesplay 61 2.2
Lorna Salzman 322 12.1

The overall numbers of Dems, R's and Greens add up like this. If David Cobb ends up the Green candidate, it's very safe to vote for him in Nov. If Peter is the Green candidate, it will still be somewhat safe, assuming Jay Leno can be reigned in.
And if Ralph is on the ballot, more fun for all! Wish I could vote for 2 candidates then . .

Dear Green Partisans,
By now (March 5), the full results of the California Green Parttyy primary should be available. PLEASE POST THESE!
Also, please explain when & where the national Green convention will be held; and what proposals will be debated there. ("Safe states" versus "battleground states"?; Nader versus a Green?; etc.???]
Puzzled,
TBL
