Nancy Price, WILPF member and national co-chair of the Alliance for Democracy, will report on the WILPF Western Hemisphere Conference held last month in Costa Rica. The meeting, which focused on the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas, was attended by women from the 9 WILPF sections in the Americas.
Nancy was an excellent choice to represent US WILPF. She is an expert on global water privatization issues, and attended the recent FTAA meetings and protests in Miami.
The meeting is free and open to the public, as are all our meetings. Directions: I-5 to Fruitridge/Seamas exit; turn east (left) on Seamas about half a mile. The parking lot is on your right as you approach Land Park Dr., or turn right on Land Park and turn right into the parking lot.
