Please Vote

by No Skull, Bones
The media wants to pick the Democratic candidate to challenge Bush. Please don't cooperate. Vote!
Dennis Kucinich has/is providing a voice for many of the ideals that have been propagated within the IMC network. Some IMC contributors criticize past positions of Kucinich, but the fact remains, that he remains an outspoken voice of criticism for many of the worst and most fundamental factors of American policy.

Everywhere he goes, individuals ranging from liberals to anarchists, true conservatives to libertarians greet Kucinich warmly and enthusiastically. I believe that this is the case because he offers a comprehensive plan to move in a radically different direction and he walks much of his talk. Many of his ideas are based on common sense and humanity based, and therefore appeal to a broad spectrum of thinking people.

The mainstream media has engaged in a systematic effort to minimalize the candidacies of the non-DLC approved candidates, and they have been very successful so far. The IMC has been uncharacteristically silent on the 'progressive' candidates leading up to this 'Super Tuesday', and that appears to fly in the face of the IMC principle of covering underreported issues.

Some people will write me off as some naive liberal, as they read this post. So be it. I have stood shoulder to shoulder with the 'liberals' and the 'radicals' throughout this cascading mess, and I am pleading for a bit of solidarity in return.

Please consider a vote for Dennis Kucinich or Al Sharpton tomorrow. They deserve some respect for their opposition to the current disastrous course of US policies, even if you don't agree with every position that they have taken.

the only real opposition vote you can make is not to vote, playing in the system only encourages them.
