Free Speech & Protesters’ Rights Forum Slated For March 18
A Free Speech and Protesters' Rights Forum is set for Thursday, March 18, 2004, 6pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento 2425 Sierra Blvd., Sacramento.
Find out where and how you can legally demonstrate; how to effectively interact with legal authorities; learn about how legal authorities have attempted to challenge our right to free speech and to demonstrate; learn how to be a legal observer and more. Trainers include representatives from the National Lawyers Guild, California Highway Patrol and the American Civil Liberties Union.
Co-sponsored by: Sacramento Area Peace Action; Sacramento Coalition to Stop the Patriot Act; ACLU of Yolo County, Unitarian Universalist Social Responsibility Committee. Refreshments donated by: Food Not Bombs.
