GIBSON MISSES HUGE TAX LOOPHOLE

by Albert Kada (davecom [at] io.com)
Mel Gibson is apparantly missing out on the huge tax loophole that churches use since being recognized by the mass media as a "religious" film maker. Gibson's latest film has been referred to as a "religious film" by CNBC MSNBC and others. Gibson has so far not asked that the film be included in the New Testament.
Gibson has expressed a desire to make more "religious films" in the future.

The fact that the Jewish fanatic groups complained confirms that there are many who feel that the film will in some way alter, at least from an historical perspective, what people believe about the story of Jesus. This indicates that these groups consider a film about a Bible story part of the religious doctrine that Christians in general believe in. To some degree they are correct.

I think I will skip "The Passion of Christ", however I predict that when I do see it on Television I will consider it the most creative and original Mel Gibson acheivments since he starred in Mad Max and the Road Warrior. My reasons for this assumption is based on the mediocrity and corny humor of Lethal Weapon. This project seems to have eminated from Mel's heart.

I would personally like to collaborate with the guy on my version of the "Tower of Babel".

COMING SOON. "The Sense of Humor of Christ". A screenplay by Albert Kada which presents a fair and balanced look at the massive intelligence failure which led to the alleged death of the famous carpenter, wonder boy, and subject of great controversy. The story examines why the Jews did it, how many times they had to do it, why the Romans didn't believe them, and why the Romans didn't do it themselves. I would love to cast Jerry Seinfeld as the guy who has to explain how that big rock in front of tomb got moved, again.

In all fairness to the Anti-defamation league, the Christians also scream bloody murder when Mel Brooks of Monty Python take a shot a Christianity.

Its unclear whether the Pope can sit up straight long enough to see the entire crucifix in motion that the Road Warrior has created.
