Non –profit child care center suffers huge losses in flood damages
Agency struggles to supplement $30,000 in flood damages.

Community Urged to Donate Dollars to Support Repairs keep center open
The Family School Child Development Center, a state of the art new facility at Mission Street in San Francisco has been closed since December 15 due to flooding, when the heavy rains took a huge toll on the center.
Since the storm, the non-profit organizations suffered over
$27, 996.00 in losses. The center is losing $933.20 per day, or $4,666.00 per week
The disaster has impacted the lives of 32 children and 25 low-income families who rely on center‘s staff and services.
Covering losses from general operations have forced cuts and services in programs.
