A protest is being organized of a fundraiser for Congress member Tom Lantos: Senator Barney Frank along with Supervisor Bevan Dufty, Carole Migden & the
Alice B. Toklas LGBT Democrat Club are among others hosting a $250 a person fundraiser for Congressman Tom Lantos, a vocal supporter of the US occupation of Iraq, the Patriot Act & Israel's violent Apartheid policies.

Also, Matt Gonzalez endorsed Ro Khanna an Arab-American anti-war & anti-Patriot act activist who is running against Tom Lantos in the Democrat primary in the 12th Congressional District which includes the Western half
of San Francisco & San Mateo County.

In the Green Party primary, there are four Green candidates running for a chance to run against Tom Lantos in the November election.
