March 22, Anniversary of our friend's death
Our friend, "Angel" of Basra (real name unknown) passed on March 22, 2003 (as best we know). She will not be forgotten, especially now that we have proof: Bush lied and she died. [Various links and stories attached with some commentary.]
March 22 is coming!
Soon we will be remembering the one year anniversary
of the journey to Heaven by our small friend, "The
Angel of Basra".

The year has gone so swiftly down here. I have not
forgotten her and perhaps she is keeping an eye
over things down here on Earth. Perhaps her spirit
is still with us.
I think it especially appropriate to somehow commemorate
March 22, 2004 now that it has been proven that President
Bush and his men outright lied or greatly exaggerated
the case for war in order to "sell" the operation to
Americans as necessary for self-defense. They lied and
she died.
I have some links for you.
First, http://www.robert-fisk.com is still around, and growing.
Some twenty pages of Iraqi victims, murdered by the
foul Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney:

Here is a BBC article (3/26/200) that included a picture
of our friend:

Here is a summary of the charges filed in Brussels
against General Franks for war crimes against Iraqis:

Here is the pictorial evidence for the war crimes case:

And, finally, here is a pictorial essay (graphic!)
showing that Iraq war crimes were not a "one off"
or accident of war. The same thing happened in
Afghanistan, and I think America -- now that we know
Bush lied and conned us to start his wars -- should
courageously look at the innocents who were murdered.
Remember how Bush was laughing and joking about
"smoking them out of their holes" and "we got them
on the run"? Ole Bushinski was riding tall in the
saddle, bloody hands waving proudly to the TV cameras!
WELL LOOK at what he did in our names!

I don't know about how you feel, exactly. But this
gives me a bad taste in my mouth and a queasy stomach.
And I am pretty unhappy about President Bush running
for re-election in November. Seems to me he is not
fit for office. Ought to be on trial with General
Franks and, after a fair trial, he ought to be locked
up for life. That's my opinion. He oughtn't to be
running loose, planning new wars, and laughing and
joking about his "accomplishments". What he has done
is a crime, and if you believe, it is a mighty sin.
