Bring students to the Asian American Film Fest!

From March 4-21, 2004 the SF Int'l Asian American Film Festival will be presenting an array of films that we hope attracts a diverse population.

Please note that the DEADLINE for registering is Feb. 17, 2004, but this can be extended in certain cases if the educator contacts me at outreach@naatanet.org or 415.863.0814 x215.


FILM SCREENINGS FOR STUDENTS
Our Community Unity screenings, aimed to raise consciousness within issues of ethnicity, race, nationality, art, and current events to students and educators, will take place from March 8-10, 2004. You may find descriptions of the Community Unity program and registration forms at:

2004 SFIAAFF FILMS

This year our three program titles are:

* Lest We Forget: Monday, 3/8, 1:00pm

* See You Off To the Edge of Town: Tuesday, 3/9, 1:00pm

* The Other Final: Wednesday, 3/10, 1:00pm

TO REGISTER

The screenings are $2/student. To register, fill out the Educator Reply Form online and fax or mail back to me with payment. The deadline for receiving your reply form and payment is FEBRUARY 17, 2004.



FREE TEACHER WORKSHOP

In addition, we will be offering a FREE WORKSHOP for TEACHERS called "SCREENS AS CHALKBOARDS: USING ASIAN AMERICAN MEDIA IN THE CLASSROOM on
Monday, March 8, 2004 at 7:30 PM.
