The Duhks are a quintet of young kick-ass Canadian folk musicians who are doing their best to create a mini folk festival wherever they land. They will be playing at 12 Galaxies Mon, Feb 23 . Tickets are $8. Co-bill with the Hot Buttered Rum Band

The Duhks are a quintet of young kick-ass Canadian musicians who live and breathe the world of folk music. Their show is a pure, unrestrained and dynamic presentation of traditional and contemporary acoustic music designed to make you kick up your feet and party.
Nominated for a Juno award (the Canadian version of the Grammy) in 2003, and recently signed to americana label Sugar Hill Records, they are excited about the upcoming tour, which stops Mon, Feb 23 at 12 Galaxies. Tickets are $8. Co-bill with the Hot Buttered Rum Band
