This is news you don't see or hear on CNN or Fox News Network!
You may wonder: What could possibly drive some Palestinians to commit the double tragedy of suicide bombing? How can Israel call itself a democracy when its aim has always been to be a Jewish state? What roles do Jewish lobby groups like AIPAC play in the conflict? How can peace and justice ever be achieved in the Middle East? Where DOES the $4 billion in US aid to Israel go?
For these answers and more, you are cordially invited to
attend the premiere of the documentary:
"Truth: Exposing Israeli Apartheid"
by local film-maker Wendy Campbell,
Preceeded by a special lecture entitled:
"Washington: Israel's Most Important Occupied Territory"
presented by noted authority on the MidEast conflict, Jeffrey Blankfort
$20 suggested donation at the door :
Proceeds to benefit Middle East Children's Alliance and mass distribution of film
The documentary will feature recent footage of massive destruction and apartheid conditions in Palestinian territories, personal eye-witness accounts by a Refusenik Israeli soldier, and peace activists, soulful interviews with Rabbi Michael Lerner, and Jess Ghannam of the Palestinian Right to Return, as well as footage of local peace rallies and marches. Some insightful historical commentary and narration by film-maker Wendy Campbell rounds out the documentary and puts the conflict into perspective. This film proves without a doubt that Israel is NOT a democracy!
