Listening for a Change is a weekly event to promote public dialogue on critical issues. In addition to banners, props, tables, chairs, food, books, information, those who wish to be "Listeners" ask the public three questions and record their response. The questions are- What do you think/feel about the events of September 11th and the U.S. government's response? How can we "defuse terrorism?" How can we make a safer, better world for our children and all children? Appreciative inquiry respects the individual and nurtures creative thinking. The event is sponsored by Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. Al are welcome to join us and participate in whatever capacity you wish, some people pass out flyers, hold signs, play music, engage in discussion. We table lots of information about the "War," global economics, upcoming events. More information is available at http://www.communitycurrency.org/9-11.html
