Join us every Tuesday for films, updates and discussion on US intervention around the globe! The festival will last through August, and possibly further into the fall. Come to the kick-off night Tuesday July 16th! Cost: $3, other donations accepted & encouraged (all proceeds will cover cost of space rental). No one will be turned away for lack of funds. July 16th - "Panama Deception" After a decade of US-sponsored violence in Central America, George Bush Sr. capped it with the invasion of Panama by 25,000 US troops. This compelling oscar-winning documentary uncovers the human cost of this war and the US motives for waging it. Introduced by panamanian labor activist Lamoin Werlein-Jaen and pacifist scholar John Lindsay-Poland.
