July 16th - "Panama Deception"
After a decade of US-sponsored violence in Central America, George Bush Sr. capped it with the invasion of Panama by 25,000 US troops. This compelling oscar-winning documentary uncovers the human cost of this war and the US motives for waging it. Introduced by panamanian labor activist Lamoin
Werlein-Jaen and pacifist scholar John Lindsay-Poland.
