"The Role of the Independent Press During Wartime" An IPA Panel Discussion on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7 PM As the United States goes to war, critical voices are more important than ever. On October 25, independent journalists, editors, and publishers will ask themselves how they can defend civil liberties, report facts and policy alternatives in the face of misinformation, and actively promote a national conversation about the war.
