Location Details:
Library auditorium, 24 Orinda Way, Orinda Village, three blocks northeast of BART.

Bay Area greenbelt and wildlife corridor or luxury housing and golf development? One of the last intact interior coast range valleys, east of Round Top peak in the Oakland-Berkeley hills, is threatened with bulldozing for a private golf extravaganza. This is the last chance to speak, write, and make the feds do their job in preventing the destruction of wildlife habitat and watershed. Greet the hearing participants with a ribbeting Frog-In at 6:00 pm on the steps of the library, testify about the need for open space at 7:00. You can study the issue and find a full press release at http://www.savegateway.org/ then join us to bear witness and pressure the decision makers to do their jobs.
