vulnerable nations; case in point: the Caribbean island of Jamaica's
40 year struggle to wrest itself from it's post-Colonial debt. A new,
feature length documentary, Life & Debt produced by Stephanie Black,
explores the real life consequences of IMF and World Bank policies as
told by ordinary Jamaican citizens. With narration by author Jamaica
Kincade, Life & Debt is an informative and sobering look at how the
global economy ensures injustice and suffering for most of its
citizens.
Discussion facilitated by Tomas Palermo to follow the film
