Globalization's true costs are being felt by the world's most vulnerable nations; case in point: the Caribbean island of Jamaica's 40 year struggle to wrest itself from it's post-Colonial debt. A new, feature length documentary, Life & Debt produced by Stephanie Black, explores the real life consequences of IMF and World Bank policies as told by ordinary Jamaican citizens. With narration by author Jamaica Kincade, Life & Debt is an informative and sobering look at how the global economy ensures injustice and suffering for most of its citizens. Discussion facilitated by Tomas Palermo to follow the film BYOB.
