Bay Area Peace Walk - Bridge to Bridge

Peace Walk from San Francisco's Bay Bridge to Golden Gate Bridge. Don't underestimate the power of this action for peace in the world. This walk is 8 miles and we will be walking at about 45 minutes per mile including breaks. We will meet at Justin Herman Plaza at 11:00 AM and leave from (the beginning of Market St.) and walk circumnavigating the Bay to the Golden Gate Bridge at 5:00PM. We will start walking at 5:30 PM from the South side of the Golden Gate Bridge to meet Marin side Peace Walkers in midspan. We'll share a peace vigil together with the Buddhist Peace Fellowship, People in Black, and, Peace and Justice Coalition and others on the San Francisco side including meditation, harmonics, and speakers. All Faiths welcome. Please wear black if you feel inspired to. The bridge is really windy in the early evening, so warm clothes are suggested.
