Veteran organizer Bill Moyer talks about his new book, Doing Democracy: The MAP Model for Organizing Social Movements, and how it applies to strategy for the peace movement in the current crisis. The Movement Action Plan (MAP) is a practical strategic model that describes how social movements can succeed. Bill Moyer was staff for Dr. Martin Luther King, the American Friends Service Committee and the Movement For A New Society. He now directs the Social Movement Empowerment Project in San Francisco.
