The Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists is located at
1924 Cedar Street (at Bonita - two blocks East of Martin Luther King Jr. Way).
At 1pm on Sunday February 10th, the Workshop begins. Donations will be accepted on a sliding scale to support the work of Plowshares and the Berkeley Fellowship Social Justice Forum Series. There will be presentations and information tables on coalitions, affinity groups, and organizations working against the war. Refreshments will be served and the event is wheelchair accessible.
Susan Crane was an innovative, courageous and successful high school teacher in Ukiah working with the "tougher" special education students. She has since become an activist for humane treatment of prisoners, after serving three terms in prison as a result of her civil disobedience work. Her commitment is to living in community whether in jail or where she now resides at Jonah House in Baltimore, Maryland with Liz McAllister, Philip Berrigan and others.
