A series of presentations by Berkeley faculty and distinguished visitors on U.S. foreign policy issues after the events of September 11, 2001. It will be open to the public and be held on Monday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. The main focus is on rethinking the past and speculating about the future in the context of domestic continuities, international constraints, and important bilateral relations. The first one was really well done. Questions from audience encouraged. This one is Peter Tarnoff, fmr Undersecretary of State for Foreign Relations, fmr President of the Council on Foreign Relations. He oughta know something...see the website for readings.
