Time:
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Event Type:
Panel Discussion
Organizer/Author:
Paul George or Julia Bernd

This free forum is sponsored by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center. Featured speakers include Samina Faheem, Founder and Executive Director of American Muslim Voice, Alpesh Patel, President of Peace Action of San Mateo County, Paul George, Director of Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, and other activists from the Bay Area community. The panel – and the audience! – will talk about challenges Bay Area peace activists have faced in the past year and what directions the movement may take in 2004 to stop the mad juggernaut of warmongering that has taken up residence in Washington, DC. The program will be taped for broadcast throughout December: Wednesdays at 11:00 pm on Channel 28 and Sundays at 12:30 pm on Channel 27. It is part of the ongoing “Other Voices” television series produced by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.
