Andrew Lichterman, one of the country’s top researchers into U.S. military planning, will examine the Bush administration’s war planning and war making from Iraq to Livermore, home of the national nuclear weapons design labs. Most importantly, he will outline how grassroots activist can and should challenge these plans.
Lichterman is the Program Director of Western States Legal Foundation, a non-profit public interest organization which monitors and analyzes U.S. nuclear weapons programs and policies and related high technology energy and weapons programs, with a focus on the national nuclear weapons laboratories.
The program will be broadcast live on Community Cable Channel 28 and rebroadcast throughout the month: Wednesdays at 11:05 pm on Channel 28 and Sundays at 12:30 pm on Channel 27. It is part of the ongoing “Other Voices” television series produced by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.
This event is sponsored by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center and is free and open to all.
