Day Laborers in Oakland’s Fruitvale district continually face repression by the state as they struggle to make a living for themselves and their families. Come support them in their fight to secure their rights against police abuse and government attacks. Sunday Aug 10th, march meets at 12:30 at Saint Elizabeth Church, 1500 34th Ave. Oakland. Followed by meeting at 1:30 in Josie De La Cruz Park on Fruitvale Ave, Oakland. "We the workers produce and make the riches."
