The Seymour Pioneer Museum presents
Family Saturdays
The Seymour Pioneer Museum is excited to announce Family Saturdays. Admission to the museum and the programs will be free on Saturday, July 19th, when Peter Kasin and Richard Adrianowicz thrill visitors as they sing sea chanteys and focus on themes such as the Gold Rush and San Francisco's "Barbary Coast.". The audience is encouraged sing along, as they explore the major influences in chanteying - Celtic, English, African-American, Caribbean, and French, and how these work songs were used aboard ship.
