Kevin Epps and the crew organizing the Hip Hop Film Fest, is featuring an updated slate of unique indie flix celebrating Hip Hop and it's cultural impact.
They are coming through the SF Bay Area twice this summer...including 3 days next week June 23-25 at the Roxie Cinema in S.F
The event will be a fundraiser for the financially strapped local organization operated by the late "Aunt Bea" Midleton. The Hunters Point Community Youth Park Foundation, has been an institution many poor urban youth rely upon for recreational opportunities, and even meals.
Kevin Epps of the award winning doc "Straight Outta Hunters Point", was deeply affected by the loss of Aunt Bea and hopes to raise funds to continue her vital programs. Kevin will be offereing signed S.O.H.P DVDs and a three day all film fest pass to any one who makes a $50 donation online.
Straight Outta Hunters Point, a gripping ghetto portrait will screen twice
