Public power is advocated by some as a way for communities to save money, and gain control of their energy supply. Others caution that it can be an expensive and risky proposition.
This panel discussion brings together experts with a range of back-grounds to explain the arguments both for and against public power.
Particular consideration will be given to the question of whether or not community aggregation is right for Berkeley.
