The concert is a fundraiser for The Rachel Corrie Banner Project. We will use the proceeds to make large banners (movable billboards) for use at rallies and demonstrations, as well as to use at strategic spots such as in front of federal building on the 16th of every month to honor Rachel\'s memory and her cause: justice and equal rights for the Palestinian people. We will make the art for the banner available on the internet, downloadable for activists world-wide to use to make their own banners and join us on the 16th of every month in honoring Rachel\'s memory and carrying on her mission which we believe will benefit the entire world.
For more information on Rachel Corrie's tragic death by being bulldozed by an Israeli soldier while protecting a Palestinian home from demolition, please go to www.electonicintifada.net
