the Chiapas Support Committee invites you to attend: Interviews in the Canadas: A Video Report from Zapatista Communities Bilingual Video (Spanish with English subtitles). A Chiapas Support Committee delegation just returned from visits to Zapatista communities in Chiapas. We were permitted to videotape interviews with Zapatista leaders and asked us to show the video as widely as possible. Delegates will give brief impressions of: the War in CHIAPAS, Globalization and the Zapatistas, the condition of refugees, WOMEN and how to support the Zapatistas. Delegates will answer questions about the video, the delegation and the current situation. Raffle, Chiapas crafts and coffee, Zapatista CDs and tapes. Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at 7:30 PM La Peña Cultural Center 3105 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley Requested donation $5 - $10 (Sliding Scale) Wheelchair Accessible, Near Ashby BART Station.
