Carl Pope, Executive Director, Sierra Club
Each year, UNFPA produces a State of the World Population Report. On November 7, 2001, UNFPA released the State of the World Population 2001: Footprints and Milestones: Population and Environmental Change. The report poignantly illustrates the linkages between demographic and environmental change, development, and family planning programs. Find out what you can do to help build momentum in supporting initiatives for the future of women, families, and the environment.
