Remembering Jenin- What Really Happened
Date Wednesday April 09
Time 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Location Details
Rockridge Library 5366 College Ave. 2nd Floor Oakland, CA 510-597-5017
Event Type Meeting
Organizer/Author
Join Americans for Justice in Palestine-Israel to watch one, possibly two, very special documentaries about what really happened in Jenin last year when Israeli troops ravaged it. Footage is shown from Jenin directly after the atrocities were committed. Israel has banned one of the films. US corporate mainstream media won't show these films, but you will have the opportunity to see them at our meeting. Feel free to bring any literature you would like to share. We believe in the one-state solution of Palestine-Israel with equal rights for all regardless of religion, ethnicity, race or sex. In our meetings, we don't debate this but rather seek ways to make this become a reality. If this sounds appealing to you, please join us! $5 donation requested (no one turned away from lack of funds)
