All they played was about 15 to 20 minutes - not the whole interview, and not even what I think is the best part of the interview: Kevin discussing more detail on the case.

From old Europe such a possibilty for Kevin Cooper to die although it seems evident that the evidence have not been considered seriously seems a shame for justice and ethics in the country of freedom.
How can it be?
I hope and wish that all the people of good will trying to say 'no' to such injustice will help the governor to make the right decision - there are enough bad things happening all around the world without adding to them just by mistake - so to speak -
It would be nice to hear the decision made was not a political one but one out of real justice and humanity
