A Celebration of Resistance in the Americas!

Searching for something hopeful these days? Want to hear about some alternatives to endless war? Join us for a celebration of resistance! Let’s talk about what’s really goin’ on! Hear from activists upon return from delegations to Colombia and Venezuela, and help raise money for a delegation to monitor elections in El Salvador this March. Anything that goes over the cost of the delegation will be donated as material aid to groups in El Salvador. Music! Poetry! Dance! Spoken Word! Stories of successful struggle! Hear from Bay Area activists, poets, singers, musicians, resisters, young and old… The evening will start off with performances (6:30-8:30) and will finish up with music and dancing (8:30-9:30). This is about celebrating our power as people, so bring stories, spoken word, music, anything you want to share on an open mic!
