RETURN TO HUMANITY PRESENTED BY USHA MULIYIL So many major institutions today are run-away elephants! They’re likely to kill us as easily as airplanes without pilots. So many institutions are beholden to the bottom line and no human values. John Steinbeck once reminded us that money has no honor and no memory. Usha will remind us that money cannot replace nature and spirit. She will explain that institutions and their robotic products must be superceded by cultures and their living scions if nature and the human spirit are to survive. Corporations produce autocracies; cultures produce meritocracies. Usha looks forward to small, dedicated peace centers springing up like mushrooms all over the globe, evoking humanity and spirituality, all connected to one another. Taken together, they would include all institutions, refurbished with human values, under their aegis.
