Recently, a fremont/newark boy who dressed as a women and identified as a women, went to a
party and met four boy. they were flirting with her and when they found out he was really a boy,
they beat her, strangled her, and burried her in the serria mountains. they are trying to get off all
charges, including off hate crime charges (which is one 1-3 years in jail) and might get off bail was
well.
a demonstration near Eddie Araujo's school on Friday Oct. 25th at 5 p.m. We would really
appreciate it if you all could join this anti-hate, anti-homophobic 'protest'/demonstraton. We will be marching
down Mowry Ave. towards the location of the memorial. If we leave this murder without pointing out the fact
of homophobia in society, no one will learn.
From BART: I will pick up people at fremont bart at 4 pm. Its down one street, but bring your bike if you can.
We will march from the bart station near Newark Memorial.
[ Fremont Bart Station at four. Be on the open side, not the glass windows side that is towards the
Mountains...
4 p.m. Oct. 25th (friday)..We are going to ride our bikes/walk down Mowry ave towards the memorial site. ]
From the freeway: take 880 north or south, get off at Mowry Ave.
North: get off at mowry ave, make a left, turn left into "Newpark mall" parking lot. Make a right, and then a
slight left and drive towards the other end.
South:get off at mowry ave, make a right, turn left into "Newpark mall" parking lot. Make a right, and then a
slight left and drive towards the other end.
It will be on the corner of Mowry and Alpsenross.
