Alaska Water Exports, Inc. has applied to the State of California for water rights to fill giant plastic bags with water from the Gualala and Albion Rivers via underground pipes, and transport them down the coast to sell to San Diego for a (private) profit. (No joke!)
· Help stop the corporate theft of water from our North Coast rivers.
· At the Forum, participants will be assisted to correctly fill out the Official State Water Rights Form to protest the Alaska Water Exports, Inc. water appropriation application.
· Experts, political representatives, and community representatives will speak about public trust alternatives to corporate theft of the commons.

· Assemblymember Patricia Wiggins- Seventh District, author of Assembly Bill 858 requiring impact studies on water export schemes
· Ursula Jones and Don Kemp- Friends of the Gualala River
· Antonia Juhasz- Project Director, International Forum on Globalization
· Anne Blackshaw- CA State Senate Select Committee on International Trade Policy and State Legislation
