At this crucial time in history, to discuss the possibility of a new anti-war movement and the direction it may take, as well as how that movement could best connect to existing movements. 2. To organize against the racist scapegoating that is happening against Arab, Muslim and all people of Middle Eastern background. 3. To discuss civil liberties abuses that are coming in the wake of Sept. 11 and how that affects grassroots organizing. 4. For folks to share knowledge about the WHY behind Sept. 11. The Berkeley Stop the War Coalition campus network committee will meet on Sunday, Sept 23 to work out more logistics so look for more info soon. If you or your campus coalition is interested in attending, please email StopTheWarConference@hotmail.com immediately, telling us which campus you're from and include a paragraph about anti-war activity on your campus. We need to know how many people to expect. Also, if you can help spread the word to different campuses, please email us and tell us which campuses you can contact ASAP.
