Current 5th Congressional Representative, Robert Matsui, voted for the War Powers Act that gave the Bush Administration the power to unilaterally wage war without Congressional approval. After the invasion of Iraq, Congressman Matsui voted his "unequivocal support"for the President "for his strong leadership" in the matter regarding Iraq. Congressman Matsui states, publicly, that he has opposed the war, but his actions say otherwise.

It's time for a change! In order to unseat this incumbent of 25 years, we need to mount an unprecedented grass roots campaign. That means people spreading the word, and that means YOU!

Driscoll for Congress accepts no corporate donations. We are up against an opponent who raises over $800,000, per election, in campaign contributions. We count on people like you and your friends to make up the difference in ACTION! So please: pass this message on to those you think would be interested in MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

See you on February 1!

Sincerely,
Denise-Christine
