happening on Feb 1 and Feb 2 (this coming Sunday and Monday).
Sun Feb. 1 7-9pm Herbst Theatre SF 401 Van Ness

For 2 years, 911 activists have known:
No Boeing 757 ever hit the Pentagon. Pictures prove it.
Boieng 757 does not fit into 30 foot hole in pentagon. See for yourself:
http://911research.wtc7.net/talks/pentagon/index.html
http://www.wtc7.net http://www.physics911.org - http://www.911-strike.com
http://www.oilempire.us - http://www.dieoff.org - http://www.peakoil.net
Some suspected a Predator-type drone with a missile, or F-16 type fighter
w/ missile hit pentagon; 757 Boeing and human bodies not found.
Some speculated a 757 flew over petagon while fighter hit Pentagon.
Flying low over Pentagon, 757 could then land at airbase 2 mi away,
where some believe it met the same fate as stolen autos meet in chopshops.
There is no proof that this 757 is the same hijacked 757 lost to radar in Ohio.
What became of that 757 and the passengers within is open to speculation.

# First organizing meeting to prepare to mobilize around to the BIO
Conference 2004 this Jun 6-9. (Pls. RSVP) Feb 3, 2004 3-5 PM
Humanist Hall, Oakland Ca 390 27th St @ Telegraph/ Broadway, Oakland
This year, the bay area will be playing host to the biotech industry's
annual largest jamboree. June 6, 2004 marks the beginning of the annual
International Biotechnology Convention organized by the Biotechnology
Industry Organization (BIO).
The convention will bring Corporations, Bankers, Industrial
"celebrities", investors and delegations from around the world to
network and present exhibitions about the Benefits of biotechnology at
"invitation only" events at the Moscone Center in downtown San
Francisco. This International Convention will have more 1,200
participating companies and organizations. It will be the World's
largest Biotech exhibit and networking forum of the year. For more
information on the Bio Conference go to: http://www.bio.org/events/2004
For all of us concerned by the profiteering of the biotech industry,
fighting for human rights, sustainable agriculture, social justice and
other related issues, this is and opportunity not to be missed. We want
to support Biodevastation ( http://www.biodev.org ), which has launched
mobilizations and conferences around the world, bringing together
scientists, farmers, and activists to resist the biotechnology that has
and will devastate local and global communities. Biodevastation has held
many annual conferences since 1998'S BIODEV in St. Louis, New Deli,
Seattle, Boston, San Diego, St. Louis and more recently participated at
the mobilization around the Sacramento Ministerial.
At Food First we'd like to host an initial brainstorming session open to
all "like minded" groups and individuals here in Oakland to organize
around the BIO Convention 2004. The organizing meeting will be held on
Tuesday, February 3, 2004 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

DEMOLISHING ?PRETEXTS? FOR THE ? ?WAR ON TERROR? ?

YURI KOCHIYAMA on 100 Years of U.S. Government Pretexts for War and Empire
DON PAUL on Knowing Our Enemy and Preventing the Next ? ?9/11? ?
$5 In an effort to prove beyond doubt that the World Trade Center?s
110-story Twin Towers and 47-story Building 7 were demolished by internal
explosions on September 11, 2001 and so to prove that participants within the U.S.
Government must have committed the mass murder of 2952 people on that that day in
New York City, researchers Jim Hoffman and Don Paul will present and discuss
several sets of physical evidence. Ken Jenkins? compilation of video-pieces traces the
facts of conspiracies from December 7. 1941 to the late 1960s: conspiracies
responsible for the mass murder at Pearl Harbor, CIA coups, and the assassinations of
John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Yuri Kochiyama will scan the United
States? use of ?pretexts? for invading countries from the late 19th century (Cuba,
the Phillipines) to the early 21st century (Afghanistan, Iraq).
The night will conclude with a public dialogue about the evidence and about
tactics by which everyday people can overcome a Government and media
capable of committing or covering up the crimes that will be shown.

# KookNotCook, with our friends Bay Area Vegetarians and the Upaya Center invites you to a Raw and/or Vegan Potluck. Sat Feb 7, 6 pm Upaya Center, 478 Santa Clara & Grand, Oakland.
*Please bring generous quantities of high-quality, healthful foods. Bold culinary experiments and minimalist simple foods are both welcome.
*Raw dishes especially encouraged! The idea is to have a gathering with mostly uncooked foods so the raw folks can get a good meal, while welcoming other folks to participate and enjoy.
*If you're not familiar with raw food preparation, it's fine to bring a wholesome cooked vegan dish. But hey, why not use this as an opportunity to be adventuresome,
try your hand at un-cooking? It doesn't have to be ultra-gourmet or fancy.
*Be sure to bring: enough food to share, list of ingredients to put next to dish, serving utensil, reusable eating dish/utensil.
*Please don't bring: junk food, chips, candy, sodas, bottled juices, white-flour baguettes; bring the kind of tasty, nourishing stuff you're hoping the other people will bring!
*Don't use any ingredients taken from animals or bees without their written consent.
*No non-reusable plates/utensils unless you plan to eat them afterwards.
*No RSVP required. $1 from most everyone allows us to give something to Upaya,
no one turned away. If a few people can stay to help clean up, great!
