March in Richmond for the Kids

The District wants to close 5 schools
in Richmond & San Pablo!

Let’s stop this injustice!

The district wants to deny us funds that we have been waiting for to remodel the school. In 2000 & 2002, voters passed propositions M & D giving money to renovate schools in Richmond and San Pablo.

But to this day we have received nothing!

Now they don’t even want to remodel Downer!

We can go to the school board meeting and demand that they take action.
In Oakland, the board announced that they were closing 13 schools,
But when the community organized themselves they showed up at the meeting, and the board was forced to only close 6 schools from the ones that weren’t represented by parents.

Let’s do the same!
We must all go and make our voices heard!
