The Poor People of Bayview

The Media indictment of Bayview, new reports only focus on the negative stories in Bayview, murder rape etc. They will give tremendous coverage to this and no coverage to the problems of the local community, this is truly racist. Why don’t they focus on the environmental violators? And the people and their organizations that prey on the community? Why don’t they focus on the inadequate Health Care? The Bayview community consists of over 36,000 multicultural people more than many small cities that have like problems. Will the media focus on the conditions that force many people towards drugs as a way of making a living or the rip off of the community by special interest so there is no money cycling in the community by design? The community is redlined so there is no economic development money for small business etc. If the media focused on the root cause of the problems in Bayview such as crooked business people, crooked government workers manipulating the community votes for special interest, focusing in on crooked Community Based Operations, crooked Gate Keepers and gangs. Identifying how much money is supposed to go to the local community through Federal, State and City funds, that is diverted through black fronts or business operations that say they are Minority Business Enterprise who don’t have a local office just a post office box. If the media provided equal time to the community problems as they give to crime Bayview would be a health striving community instead of being under the racist foot of the media. Every community has a few bad apples; they don’t represent the majority of the community. The community is saddened and apologetic when they see a crime perpetrated on some one from outside the community, whether man woman or child. However the media should also cover the stories that are destructive to the health and welfare of the community as a whole.
