Shelter From The Storm: A Benefit for the Homeless — To offset the state budget cuts, please come out and celebrate community spirit and generosity by listening to some down home, great music. The spirit of revolution takes to the stage with Country Joe McDonald, Carol Denney, Buzzy Linhart & the Big Few, Will Scarlet w/Mark Silber & Steve Mann, playin’ passionate, radical folk and psychedelic tunes sure to rock your soul. Special Guests: the Xplicit Singers, Yukon Hannibal, Bones, MC/comedians: Stoney Burke & Moby Theobald. Mayor Tom Bates will give awards to homeless activists at this benefit for those who might otherwise perish in this winter’s storms.
Location: Freight & Salvage, 1111 Addison St, @ San Pablo, Berkeley.

Stoney does a show on the Berkeley campus every Tuesday. He does it in the sitting area in front of Dwinelle Hall on the other side of the campus gates from upper Sproul Plaza.
