Planning Meeting for Global Day of Action --In FRESNO!

Planning meeting for Fresno march and rally for March 20 Global Day of Action calling for an end to occupation and to Bring the Troops Home NOW!
On March 20, 2004, the first anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq will be met with a Global Day of Action, issued by the A.N.S.W.E.R. coalition. People in cities around the world will join together to demand: “End the Occupation – Bring the Troops Home NOW!” In Fresno, Peace Fresno has initiated an event in solidarity on Saturday, March 20, 12:00 noon -- March from the Federal Building at “O” Street & Mariposa to Courthouse Park at Van Ness & Tulare (one mile). At the end of the march a rally will be held in Courthouse Park at 1:00 PM. The first planning meeting for the rally will be Tuesday, February 3, 7:00 PM at the Fresno Center for Nonviolence, 985 N.
