All are invited to a glamorously grief-stricken funeral to mourn the inauguration of a fascist mayor.
Gay Shame is inviting all the grieving to mark the inauguration of
the new and unwelcome mayor, Gavin Newsome, with a funeral procession
at the public swearing in ceremony.
The funeral will be mourning the loss of lives, various services and
quality of life (memorialized by symbolic props) that San Francisco
is about to experience over the next four years.
We are meeting at the Larkin street steps of the SF city library (btw
Grove and McAllister) at 10:30am, this Thursday, 8th January.
Mourners are asked to wear appropriate glamorously gory funereal
attire. The procession will be solemn, and in the main, silent.
Musicians are invited to play `The Funeral March'.
