Solidarity with Grocery Store Workers

The strike for affordable healthcare for grocery store workers came to the bay area on Saturday with a large rally at the Castro Safeway in San Francisco. Several hundred trade unionists and their supporters filled the most of the parking lot effectively shutting the store down for several hours. The rally was in solidarity with the 70,000 grocery store workers on strike in Southern California.
