It should be pointed out that while the design is new and the approach is somewhat new, that this website is the continuation of the old sf.indymedia.org website with most of the original collective now working on this site. All of the content that was here before the other site split off is still here. Indybay.org is the website that's still being run out of the same San Francisco Bay Area IMC space.

Yeah sorry about the confusion on that, this site just seems more new skool and the other site seems well, old. They have repeatedly hidden the announcement for this benefit, which is so lame. what the hell kind of solidarity is that

Someone on the SF site did classify the post of this to that site as a local event and then someone else hid it. I think some of those in the SF collective are ok, its just those who refuse to recognize that this indybay site exists who seem to have ultimate control (and nobody wants to stand up to a bully).
