The National Conference on Media Reform took place Nov. 7-9 in Madison,
Wisconsin, and featured such presenters as Bill Moyers, Al Franken, Naomi Klein,
AFL-CIO's John Sweeney, Juan Gonzalez, Amy Goodman, Robert McChesney and
over 1700 media activists. A high point for many was the emergence of a younger
generation of racially-diverse activists fighting for media justice.

Please join us for a report back presented by
Media Alliance and the New College Media Studies MA Program.

Presenters will include:

Malkia Cyril of Youth Media Council,
Thenmozhi Sandararajan of Third World Majority,
Crescent Diamond of Berkeley Community Media,
Martha Wallner of Media Alliance.

Sasha Constanza-Chock will also report back from the activist events, WSIS?
We Seize!, held Dec. 10-12 in Geneva, in conjunction with the U.N. World
Summit on the Information Society.

Join us for a lively discussion about what's going on in the
international media media democracy movement and how we can build on this momentum in the coming year.

Videos from the conference will be screened.
