Radical New Tactic: The Simon Says Bloc
This is a real idea, I think that it would be amazing! Please concider it for a moment.
You know how at large protests you often get to a point where the cops have decided that you need to clear an intersection and they announce it but there is still a little time before they force you to? Well this idea is for those times.
Imagine a hundred people committed to the Game of Simon Says:
A cop says into a bullhorn: "CLEAR THE STREET..."
a single protestor approached the cop and says "excuse me, sir? maybe you don't know about us. We're the SIMON SAYS bloc. We'd be happy to move if only you'll say Simon Says."
The cop ignores her and lifts the bullhorn "CLEAR THE STREET!"
The crowed mimes listening and says, in unison, "YOU DIDN"T SAY SIMON SAYS!!!"
Some cops will never try it, but once in a while a cop will pause, lift the bullhorn and say: "SIMON SAYS CLEAR THE STREET!" When they say this, the entire crowed quickly clears the street!
The cops brain melts out his ear.
He goes back to his superior officer who orders him to do something.
and in his head he says to himself "you didn't say simon says!"
The point is to demonstrate how authority and power are all games that we play and to help cops see it.

What would the cops do? They have proven repeatedly that they can deal with a large mass in one place standing still. Could they deal with many small masses, moving very quickly away from them in numerous directions?
