Take back the streets - resist Halloween!
Please join us at Hallowwen Resistance in Dolores Park on Friday, Oct. 24th at 6:00PM.
We feel that Halloween is insensitive to zombies and warlocks, and a major cause of discrimination. It has also become aholiday to dress up in expensive costumes, leading to forced consumerism of corporate products like candy, makeup, and costumes.
Oh yeah, and before I forget, Free Mumia, Remember Attica, No More Homelessness, No Blood for Oil, etc...

Clear channel apparently is hosting halloween in the castro where bags will be searched, beer dumped, and people w/o costumes sent home. Although, in the past I've wondered why the police overreact at protests, but sit there doing nothing when I've seen some of the most blatantly violent stuff going on. Last time I went, I was following this group of jerk kids around who were spreading mayhem. They were skipping along and suddenly would hone in on a thin gay man and knock him over and kick him, then move on, knock over a trash can, write on a building, then randomly beat up other people who didn't have a group of friends with them at the moment. People do sideshow type stunts in crowded areas.
e-mail the mayor and demand that we be allowed to have Halloween with out police harassment, unreasonable searches, and proabition!
the city is doing this so the buisnesses can clean up on OUR Halloween party. e-mail the mayor and say....
