Learning about Jews

Like many Americans, I used to think that all Jews were basically alike and they all supported Israel as a Jewish state. Also, I had no idea about what Zionism was. Try going around asking your typical non-Jewish American what Zionism is and you will most likely get a puzzled look along with unsure responses like: "A fanatical religious group?" "Mormons?"

Ask your typical American if there are more than one kind of Jew and if they believe that all Jews support the state of Israel. Most likely they will reply that, yes, all Jews are the same basically religion/race and that they all support the state of Israel.

Many typical Americans also tend to believe that the Arab world wants to "push Israel into the sea", that all Arabs hate Jews just because they are Jews. They also generally believe that Jews are to be pitied and are victims of unusual discrimination, as evidenced by the Holocaust in WWII, and that is why America must protect Israel and Jews.

Personally I have never met anyone who "hates" Jews simply because they are Jews. Since 9-11, I have met people who are very critical of the role that Zionist American Jews continue to play in supporting our country's complete involvement with Israel's war against the non-Jewish Palestinians. But noone I know simply "hates" Jews because they are "Jews". And none of them actually hate Jews as far as I can tell, but they hate Zionism because of the racist ideology that it is.

Very few Americans know the truth about how Israel was created, when White European countries of the UN unilaterally gave away Arab land that was not theirs to give away in the first place to Eastern European Zionist Jews who were, and are in essense, Jewish White supremacists. These Zionists always had the plan to either ethnically cleanse (expell, transfer, kill) the non-Jewish indigenous Palestinians or have an apartheid regime or a combination of both of these options. Few Americans know that Israeli terrorists demolished entire Palestinian villages the year that Israel was thus created in1948 and forced 800,000 Palestinians, which was half of the Palestinian population at that time, to flee their homeland in terror. The ethnic cleansing and apartheid still continues in Israel to this day.

Few Americans know that Menachem Begin, who later became an Israeli prime minister, oversaw the bombing of the King David Hotel in 1946 killing scores of British and Arabs, including many civilians.

There were many other such terrorist acts committed by Jewish terrorist gangs, that have since morphed into the current Israeli Army, the IDF, who continue on with this ethnic cleansing campaign, causing thousands of Palestinians to become homeless, maimed and many have died, even inside their homes while they were being bulldozed.

Few Americans fully realize that this is what our American tax dollars are supporting in Israel, the 16th wealthiest country per capita in the world with the 3rd or 4th strongest army in the world. Israel receives a minimum of $4 billion US tax dollars yearly, but some years, including this year Israel asks for and receives even more American tax dollars. Just this year Israel asked for and received $9 billion more on top of the usual $4 billion. Most of this aid is used on military weapons and building illegal Jewish settlements on stolen Palestinian land, and now the Apartheid Wall, which is illegally annexing even more Palestinian land.

Americans don't fully realize all these facts since these facts are not printed in our US mainstream media or if they are reported, they are certainly not reported prominently. The story may be stuck in the back pages and worded in such a way as to seem quite innocuous with a Zionist point of view. The role of Jews and Israel in influencing the US foreign policy is often downplayed or even censored in all media in the US, even in so-called alternative media.

If Americans want to know the facts about Israel and its influence over the U.S. government, they have to go to the internet and read Jewish newspapers and Jewish websites, as well as the newspapers of foreign countries, including Israel. One website that has all the major Jewish newspapers, and websites for major Jewish organizations is http://www.forward.com . There are also many excellent websites that show the Palestinian point of view such as http://www.electonicintifada.net.

Non-Jewish Americans are not supposed to notice the enormous influence that Zionist Jews have over the U.S. government. Or if they do happen to notice it, they are not supposed to talk about it. Or if they do talk about it, they certainly cannot express any criticism of it without being called, you guessed it: anti-semitic.

However the rest of the world has certainly noticed the Zionist Jewish influence over the U.S., particularly over the U.S. foreign policy. In fact, for some time now, many in Europe refer to the U.S. as "Big Israel". Certainly the Arab countries are acutely aware of the Zionist Jewish influence, or control, over U.S. foreign policy.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad told a summit of Muslim leaders Oct. 16, 2003, "that Jews ruled the world and recruited others to fight and die for them. The Europeans killed 6 million Jews out of 12 million, but today the Jews rule the world by proxy"(the U.S.). Just one look at the Neo-conservative, mostly Zionist Jewish, website http://www.newamericancentury.org , and see how closely the current US administration is following the neo-con Zionist plan for world domination, and it is a pretty convincing statement. The speech received a standing ovation from kings, presidents, sheiks and emirs, including key U.S. allies. It seems pretty obvious that U.S. support for Israel involves endless wars against all the Arab countries until they are subjugated to Zionist Israel control, via American resources.

However not all Jews are Zionists nor do all Jews support a Zionist Jewish state of Israel. Both religious Jews such as those of the Neturei Karta (http://www.nkusa.org)and many secular non-religious anti-Zionist Jews are completely opposed to the imperialist, chauvinistic, expansionist, racist political ideology of Zionism, a movement that was started in the late 1880's by Theodor Hertzl, an Eastern European Askenazi Jew. At this current time in history, the Zionist Jews have thus succeeded in being the most powerful and influential of the Jews, both in government and the U.S. mainstream media. However, this could change. Everything does change eventually.

Just as there have been many changes in Christianity, where there are many sects, and many of them clash with one another, there are also many sects of Jews. One only need look at the clash between Ireland and Northern Ireland, to see that those groups who are both Christians and white, can be racist and hateful towards one another. It's a messy mix of religion, ethnicity and class wars. But our tax dollars are not being spent on that war, as they are being used to fund Israel's terrorist campaign against the non-Jewish Palestinians.

Oddly enough, some Americans may not even consider Jews as White, but of course most of them are. What distinguishes Jews from non-Jews is not the color of their skin, but their beliefs. There are Ashkenazi Jews, who are very white, and from Europe and Russia. The Ashkenazi Jews are the one who mostly dominate the Zionist state of Israel and the Zionist neo-conservatives in the U.S are mostly Ashkenazi Jews. There are the olive-skinned Sephardic Jews, who are descended from the Arab countries and Mediterranean areas. There are the Black Ethiopian Jews, who were only fairly recently accepted into Israel. In the "Lonely Planet Guide to Israel and The Palestinian Territories", there is a section on the different kinds of Jews in Israel, and how there is blatant racism there. For instance, during blood drives for donating blood in Israel, the blood of Ethiopian Jews was thrown away, because it was from Blacks. The Israeli hospital workers didn't even bother to test it for AIDS. This practice was well documented. The beliefs among Jews about God and what constitutes Jewishness also vary widely between various Jewish sects.

At any rate, few Americans know that 92% of the land in Israel is for Jews only and that only 8% of Israel's land is alloted for use by non-Jewish Israelis, which make up 20% of the Israeli population. Few Americans know that there are Jews-only bypass roads that go to Jews-only settlements on land that was illegally confiscated by Israeli Jews. Few Americans know that no one in Israel can run for office if they want Israel to be anything but a Jewish state. So, for instance, if an Israeli citizen wanted to run on a platform that Israel should have a truly secular democratic government that provides equal rights, liberty and justice for all its citizens regardless of religion, ethnicity or sex, that person would not be allowed to run for office.

As more and more Americans learn the truth about Israel and realize how billions of their tax dollars are being spent in such a racist country , they may demand an end to U.S. support of apartheid Israel.
