Queer Muslim struggle

Queer Jihad is similar to the American queer community's struggle with right wing homophobic christians. Many Islamic fundamentalists are strongly opposed to homo/bisexuality, similar to American right wing patriarchs like Jerry Falwell, GW Bush, etc..

We need to recognise the coomon thread linking right wing patriarchal homophobic religious fanatics (Christian, Muslim and Zionist Judaism). All three religions contain right wing elements that are violently opposed to queer people maintaining their identity..

Looking at the current conflicts with these three patriarchal religions, we need to look closer at the oppression against queer people by the religious fundamentalists..

Perhaps Queer Jihad can open some doors to knowledge..
